Vintage, original gelatin silver, black and white, single weight, glossy finish photo of a young Toots Hibbert of Toots and the Maytals by noted photographer Charlyn Zlotnik for the Village Voice. Charlyn made her name photographing the Austin music scene in the 1960s before eventually moving to New York. There is a photographer's credit stamp on the reverse, with Zlotnick's Austin address, so I feel certain that this is from the late 60s before she moved. This photo is so clean. It will display beautifully!
