Spaceward was founded in Cambridge by sound engineers Mike Kemp & Gary Lucas and ran from 1972 to 1988. Many bands recorded there including Iron Maiden, Tubeway Army, Stiff Little Fingers, The Higsons, The Soft Boys, The Stranglers, Toyah, Bauhaus, The Teardrop Explodes & Neil from the Young Ones!
