This is a previously-owned (used) ticket stub from an R.E.M. concert held at the Palace of Auburn Hills on June 6, 1995… R.E.M. was formed in Athens, Georgia, in early 1980 by drummer Bill Berry, guitarist Peter Buck, bassist Mike Mills, and vocalist Michael Stipe. This ticket stub is from the band’s ‘1995 Aneurysm Tour’ tour in support of “Monster,” the band’s ninth studio LP. After refusing to tour in support of their two previous releases, “Out of Time” and “Automatic for the People,” the band agreed to tour in support of “Monster.” The tour was critically and commercially successful, though a handful of shows were either cancelled or postponed due to health problems associated with the band members.
