A rare poster promoting the "1st Annual Punk Magazine Awards Ceremony," held at Club Hollywood, NYC, October 13, 1978. "Scheduled to appear and present awards" were "members of the following famous rock groups" the Ramones, Kiss, Blondie, the Dead Boys, Richard Hell & The Voidoids, the Dictators and the Village People (!). This ill fated fundraiser was held in a disco the night after Sid Vicious' girlfriend Nancy Spungen was found dead at the Chelsea Hotel. Additional attendees included Lou Reed, Jerry Nolan, Peter Wolf, Danny Fields, Lester Bangs, and Malcolm McLaren. The Punk Magazine website features a great article about this event here.
