John Georgiadis (1939–2021) was a distinguished British violinist and conductor. He was renowned for his role as concertmaster, leading the London Symphony Orchestra on two separate occasions. In addition to his orchestral work, Georgiadis pursued a successful career as a soloist and later as a conductor, with a particular passion for Viennese light music, especially the works of the Strauss family.
