First Touchstone paperback printing, 1971. This book is in absolutely amazing condition! It honestly looks like it just came off the store shelf in 1971, I’ve had new books arrive in worse condition. I’ve done my best to photograph every blemish I can find. The most glaring issue with this is that there are a couple of spots of paper loss on the spine. Other than that and few tiny spots of wear and a few very faint scratches, this book looks new. There are no obvious signs of fading or yellowing and the gloss looks new. The binding is tight and the pages are unmarked and crisp. This appears unread. This is an amazing example of the book from one of music’s most legendary poets.
