Music and youth culture photographer Turbett abandoned darkroom photo prints in the mid-1990s, moving to digitally-scanned prints; this is a darkroom photo print. Turbett’s first gig was photographing The Sex Pistols in June 1977 recording the Pretty Vacant video and she spent the next decade photographing for Sounds, Smash Hits, The Face, Flexipop and Record Mirror.
