The Fanzines started in 1979 and ended in 1983, The magazine's run coincided with a major turning point for the band. After the release of their 1982 album, It's Hard, they embarked on what was then billed as their first "Farewell Tour," which concluded on the 17th of December 1982, in Toronto.
