Benno Rabinof (1902–1975), a violinist, was the last ofLeopold Auer 's famous students, who also includedEfrem Zimbalist ,Mischa Elman, andJascha Heifetz. In 1927, Benno made hisCarnegie Hall debut playing theElgar andTchaikovsky concertos, with Auer conducting.
