Performing artists included Albert King (1923—1992), John Lee Hooker (1917—2001), Otis Spann (1930—1970), Champion Jack Dupree (1910—1992), and The Stars of Faith. About six months after this tour, the great Otis Spann died of liver cancer in Chicago.
